Looking for a new challenge, Sam joined the Tongue & Groove team, where he heads the Property Maintenance division. He’s been able to excel in servicing existing and new client homes on their maintenance plans and smaller renovations. Managing subcontractors and working alongside our in-house design + build division, Sam enjoys working with a team to ensure issues are resolved and our client’s homes are pristinely maintained for decades to come.
Sam’s positive approach backed by a strong team throughout the Tongue & Groove company will virtually guarantee that our homeowners will enjoy the comfort and beauty of their well-maintained home for years to come. His ability to work toward common goals for successful results comes from his many years in the industry, and is a natural fit for this position with Tongue & Groove Property Maintenance.

With a deep-rooted passion for construction and an unwavering commitment to detail, Kurt Blackmon brings full-circle expertise to his role at the Raleigh division of Tongue & Groove Property Services.
In 2007, he joined Tongue & Groove as a Project Manager, overseeing new construction and remodel projects. Now, nearly two decades later, he has returned to the company—bringing his career journey full circle—as part of our growing Property Services division in Raleigh. He credits much of his professional growth to working alongside Mark Batson, whose meticulous attention to detail and dedication to creating seamless, enjoyable client experiences have deeply influenced his own approach.

Charlotte DiLeonardo brings a rare combination of creative insight and operational leadership to Tongue & Groove, serving as Operations Manager in the Raleigh region. Her role centers on ensuring that the firm’s work moves forward with clarity, efficiency, and intention, supporting both the team and the clients they serve.
With a career rooted in the intersection of design, technology, and operations, Charlotte has long been drawn to the process of turning ideas into something tangible. She began her professional path working with companies such as IBM and Unimation in robotics, software programming, and design management, building a strong technical and analytical foundation that continues to inform her approach today.
She later founded Zebra Print Solutions, where she served as Managing Partner for more than three decades. Under her leadership, the company grew into a multi-million-dollar operation known for its quality, precision, and client service. Charlotte oversaw all aspects of the business, from strategic planning and production workflow design to team leadership, vendor partnerships, and financial management. Her commitment to operational discipline was reinforced through the implementation of ISO-9000 quality systems, ensuring consistency and reliability across complex projects.
At Tongue & Groove, Charlotte applies that same mindset of ownership and continuous improvement, developing systems and processes that allow creative work to be executed seamlessly. She is motivated by the balance between creative thinking and operational problem-solving, helping ideas move from concept through completion with intention and care.
Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University, where she developed a strong foundation in design thinking, production, and problem-solving. Over the course of her career, she has been recognized for both professional achievement and community involvement, including honors from the Triangle Business Journal, the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and the State of North Carolina.
Originally from Yonkers, New York, Charlotte has spent much of her life in Raleigh, where she built her career, raised her family, and developed lasting relationships within the community. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time creating—whether through art, sewing, or baking—continuing a lifelong appreciation for hands-on craftsmanship.
